Moisture Genie

A new moisture control system, made in Canada.  Removes moisture prior to entering the bag and allows varying levels of moisture to go to the chanter.  Customizable, durable, and does not attach to the drones.

1. Zero resistance - all blowing effort goes to producing sound

2. Ease of installation - affix one of the 3 sizes of sleeves that matches your blowpipe stock and plug it in. Works with or without a Moose valve installed (instructions are included) Sometimes a few wraps of hemp may be needed. That’s it.

3. Ease of maintenance - The desiccant is activated alumina - about 4-5 hours of actual playing time until regeneration is needed. Remove the beads from the screw top canister and microwave for a total of 4 minutes. Comes with a spare canister (and a few extra beads in case of mishap!) for plug and play. Moisture is adsorbed, vs absorbed, and so a very small amount of heat is released from the beads as they adsorb moisture. An easy way to tell if the beads are not spent, is if the canister is slightly warm when being played. 

4. Great, stable sound - Untreated, moist air goes to the chanter. Select one of the 3 slip on caps to get the perfect amount of moisture to the chanter, or use without a cap for extra dry conditions. Each cap has a different aperture.
